We have a rule among our staff that whoever walks in the door—whether it’s a guest, the president of the congregation or the UPS person—we drop what we’re doing and treat them like they’re the most important people in the world.

you to share your email address with us so we can include you in regular

* FALL FUN DAY SUNDAY is September 16th,
3:00-7:00 pm at FLC. Come for fun activities, music, food and
refreshments. Sponsored by FLC’s Prayer Pals with help from many
other groups.
* COUPLES BIBLE STUDY begins September 16th
at 7:00 pm in Higher Grounds café at FLC. New couples welcome.

* WELCOME TO OUR NEW INTERN, Christa Forsyth, who
begins with us parttime on Tuesday, September 18th,
and will move to fulltime starting in January of 2008. Her
internship will last until the summer of 2009.
* CHESS TEAM begins at FLC on September 18th
and will meet Tuesdays in Chilstrom Hall at 3:00-4:30 pm until
November 20th.
Pastor Sorensen is father and coach of the 2002 U.S. National Jr.
High Chess Champion, Reed Sorensen. Open to Grades 3-6. Free to both
members and non-members.
* MST RUMMAGE SALE is Saturday, September 22nd,
8:00-noon. You can donate clean clothing and household items (no
computers, TVs, encyclopedias or exercise equipment please) on the
preceding Monday through Thursday.
* 8th GRADERS RECEIVE BIBLES and a blessing on
Sunday, September 23rd
at either worship service. We hand the bibles to parents who hand
them to their children.
* CONFIRMATION SUNDAY this year is October 29th, 2007 with our 10th graders affirming their faith at the 10:45 a.m. worship service. Dinner/rehearsal/pictures for these students and their parents will be on the preceding Wednesday, October 24th, beginning at 6:30 pm in Chilstrom Hall.
